Questo e' l'articolo di apertura in prima pagina del New York Times di oggi 19 ottobre 2008.Il rappresentante FBI all'ottavo Seminario sulla Frode organizzato splendidamente da OLAF nello stato di Cipro dal 12 al 14 ottobre ha sostenuto e anticipato il contenuto di questa inchiesta che mette in evidenza come molte risorse siano state distolte dal 'focus' di problemi interni americani che avrebbero portato poi al dramma finanziario che stiamo vivendo tutti, americani e non americani. ____________________________________________________ October 19, 2008

WASHINGTON — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is struggling to find enough agents and resources to investigate criminal wrongdoing tied to the country’s economic crisis, according to current and former bureau officials.
